Dr. Jones received her undergraduate degree from Centre College in Danville, KY, and her medical degree at The Medical College of Ohio. She completed her residency at Christiana Care Health System, where she served as chief resident and earned multiple awards for clinical excellence.

In addition, Dr. Angela received certification to perform Da Vinci Robotics during her tenure at Barnabas Health System and remains one of a few female, board-certified, robotic surgeons in New Jersey.

Personal

She’s best known to her patients as Dr. Angela, “Dr. Jones” to those who prefer a bit more formality. Medicine is her passion and has been her dream since about age 4. She’s always known that a career in medicine was her destiny. She’s from the Buckeye State, Ohio, primarily growing up in Columbus, OH, but completed her high school years in Cincinnati.

She is a minimally invasive, Davinci Trained, robotic surgeon. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family, her dog Snickers, and friends, laughing, reading, writing, playing guitar, exercising, cooking,...the list goes on and on.

She’s passionate about women’s health — “Being a woman allows a unique perspective as I have or will experience most of what my patients go through. Pregnancy; been there, done that. I am a single mom with an amazing 14-year-old daughter. I am currently perimenopausal and in the midst of my journey towards menopause. Being able to relate to women as a woman is invaluable as I’ve experienced mental fog, slowed metabolism, irregular periods, hot flashes, etc.” - Dr. Angela

“I embrace womanhood and aging. Like fine wine, I/we get better with age. I am an advocate for women’s health, women’s rights, and will lead by example helping women live their best lives via best practice medicine and ensuring that women have the most current information, and treatment options as they navigate each stage of their lives; this includes perimenopause, menopause, and post menopause.” - Dr. Angela
