Christina Hanna, MPH, CHES
Christina Hanna is a UX Content Strategy Lead for Kenvue and the Content Lead for Versalie. Before joining the Versalie team, she spent 7.5 years at Johnson & Johnson working on projects with health topics ranging from orthopedic and bariatric surgery to AFib to children’s ear infections — crossing her fingers and toes that a brand like Versalie would come her way.
She has a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Michigan, specializing in health behavior and health education. She is also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
After obtaining degrees in Sociology and African-American Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she taught English as a Second Language in South Korea. Christina has always had a passion for health and education. Whether it’s serving inside the classroom (as a substitute teacher, English tutor, and a third-grade aide) to outside the classroom (swim & tennis) — teaching and guiding others remained at the center of everything Christina did.
She took her experience in teaching and education and began to apply it to health. She’s always been passionate about female health — especially reproductive and sexual health:
- Intern at a women’s health and HIV clinic in Mombasa, Kenya
- Education Intern at Planned Parenthood Mid and South Michigan
- Volunteer HIV test counselor
- Worked for the Wisconsin Alliance for Women’s Health
- Worked for the State of Wisconsin AIDS/HIV Program
- Worked for the State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Division of HIV & STI Programs
- Worked and volunteered as a birth doula in southeast Michigan.
When she’s not learning and sharing all there is to know about menopause and hormonal health, she enjoys reading, traveling, trying new recipes, and watching TV with feline coworker Thor.
