Dr. Lisa Larkin, MD

Expertise

Dr. Larkin is a board-certified internist and women’s health clinician who has been in practice in Cincinnati, Ohio, since 1991. She is also a world-renowned expert in menopause care for breast cancer survivors.

Dr. Larkin is a breast cancer survivor who cares a lot about women’s health. She is especially interested in helping women manage menopause, take care of their sexual health, cancer survivorship, breast cancer risk assessment and prevention, and cardiovascular disease.

She is the Founder and CEO of Ms.Medicine, which is a national healthcare organization with the mission to advance healthcare for women through its concierge primary care model. Ms.Medicine also provides evidence-based information to clinicians and consumers on the complex health needs of women.

Dr. Larkin is also President and Owner of Concierge Medicine of Cincinnati. It’s an independent, multi-specialty internal medicine and women’s health practice offering Direct Primary Care and concierge primary care. In addition, she is the Founder and Executive Director of the Cincinnati Sexual Health Consortium, a nonprofit organization formed to improve sexual health and wellness for people in Cincinnati.

Before developing Ms.Medicine, she was an associate professor and division director of the Midlife Women’s Health and Primary Care at the University of Cincinnati's Women’s Health Center.

Education and Training

As an undergraduate, she received a Bachelor of Science from Skidmore College. Dr. Larkin is an Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Chicago.

Personal

Dr. Larkin is passionate about her friends and family. She loves spending time with her husband and their blended family of 6 children. Together, they enjoy active travel, including mountain climbing, hiking, tennis, and skiing.
